University of Lleida (UdL) and IRTA presented EUCLID project results at the 14th meeting of the IOBC-WPRS Working Group "Integrated Control in Protected Crops, Mediterranean Climate", that was held in Lisbon, Portugal, from 4 to 7 of September 2018.

The main theme of this meeting was "Pest control in Mediterranean greenhouses under the pressure of climate change and invasive species", with the participation of researchers, graduate, and post-graduate students, as well as technical advisers and stakeholders from the public and private sectors. During the meeting, recent studies on the main and related themes were presented. UdL talked about local and landscape features that enhance the early entrance of predatory mirids into greenhouses and IRTA talked about the efficacy of two predatory mirid bugs (Dicyphus sp.) as candidates for the control of tomato pests. Present and future challenges in pests, pathogens and weeds management in protected crops were also discussed during the meeting.
